Gunman Clive HD Collection Coming to Wii U

Two highly regarded Nintendo 3DS eShop titles are coming to Wii U.

One man developer Bertil Hörberg announced today that both Gunman Clive and Gunman Clive 2 will be heading to Wii U. Both titles will be included in one package, aptly called the Gunman Clive HD Collection, and was announced on Twitter by the developer. Both of the cowboy-themed retro platformers will run at 60 frames-per-second and display at a 1080p resolution.

While additional information has not been released on the HD collection, it shouldn't be long until players are playing through Gunman Clive's adventures again. Bertil Hörberg said he plans on submitting the title to Nintendo of America next week, so a release should not be far off.

Gunman Clive HD Collection will release first in North America, coming to other territories (such as Europe and Australia) at a later date.

Gunman Clive originally released on iOS and Android in 2012, but found an audience on the Nintendo 3DS when it came to the handheld. The Mega Man inspired platformer then found its way onto Steam in 2014. A sequel, titled Gunman Clive 2, released earlier this year on Nintendo 3DS.
