GTA 5 PC petition surpasses 400,000 signatures

The petition to bring Rockstar Games' Grand Theft Auto 5 to PC now has over 400,000 signatures, thanks largely to the game's release on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. 24 hours after GTA 5's release yesterday, the highly anticipated game sits at a 98 and 97 Metacritic score for Xbox 360 and PS3, respectively. It's on track to challenge its predecessor Grand Theft Auto 4 as the highest rated game of all time. So it's understandable why gamers are so adamant on bringing it to PC.

GTA 5 helps save the life of 70-year-old man

As reported by Breakfast Television, two brothers who were out late Monday night (for the midnight release of GTA 5) helped save the live of a 70-year-old man who was trapped inside of his home during a housefire. The two brothers helped break down the door (obviously a skill they learned while playing video games) and, upon being forced out by heavy smoke, called 9-1-1 for fire rescue.

Sony: PS3 will not be forgotten when PS4 launches

Sony has maintained that the PlayStation 3 will have a 10-year lifecycle — at least. Like the PS2 before it, which continues to sell actually, the PS3 will not be forgotten about with the launch of the PlayStation 4.

DuckTales: Remastered coming to retail stores in November

DuckTales: Remastered, Capcom's HD remake of the classic 1989 platformer for the Nintendo Entertainment System, will be hitting retail store shelves as a disc-based game on November 12, 2013. The game has been available as a digital download through Xbox LIVE, PlayStation Network, Nintendo eShop, and PC for over a month now, but Capcom feels a disc-based alternative is warranted.
