Why Microsoft doesn't 'support' standing the Xbox One up vertically
Back in May we reported that you shouldn't stand your Xbox One up vertically. At the time, Microsoft only explained that the design of the airflow and venting system was "optimized for horizontal orientation." This week at the Tokyo Game Show, Albert Panello, senior director of product management and planning at Xbox, reiterated this stance.
