H1Z1 developer Daybreak Game Company has posted a few job listings for animators, concept artists, programmers, game designers, etc. for what they are calling an "unannounced project." Within the listings (via NeoGAF) is some verbiage about the game, revealing that it is an MMORPG based on "a hugely popular IP."
Additionally, the game will have "action-based game systems," "gear, weapons, and thematic combat mechanics," and "a fast-paced, iterative environment." Some of the positives the company says they are looking for is experience with both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, so whatever they are working on appears to be coming to consoles.
Daybreak Game Company has been around for a long time, and is responsible for one of the most recognizable MMOs of all-time, EverQuest. In fact, virtually their entire reputation has been built on games with an online component of some kind, as they are also the minds behind the Planetside games, DC Universe Online, The Matrix Online, and Star Wars Galaxies.
Daybreak isn't talking about what exactly it is they are working on just yet, but whatever it is, we'll be keeping an eye on it.
