As part of Microsoft's Games with Gold promotion, gamers can now download Halo 3 completely free of charge, assuming of course they have an Xbox Live Gold account.
Along with Halo 3, two separate DLC packs, Cold Storage and the Heroic Map Pack, are free as well, and the Mythic II map pack is discounted from $9.99 to $4.99.
You can download Halo 3 from your browser right here, or just look for the game on the XBL Marketplace.
This promotion will run until the end of October, when Microsoft will announce a new game for free for half a month.
