Microsoft and 343 Industries have released a new trailer for Halo 4's Crimson Map Pack DLC, confirming its December 10th release date.
More important than the release date, the trailer shows off footage of the three new multiplayer maps that will be added with the DLC and gives a very brief description of each map: Wreckage, Harvest, and Shatter.
Shatter is described as a "large symmetrical map", perfect for the Warthog and Mantis. 343 says it's "ideal" for the Dominion and Extraction game modes.
The next map, Harvest, is a "small to mid-sized map" that will feature plenty of "face-to-face skirmishes." It's also "perfect" for Capture-the-Flag.
The last map included is Wreckage, a "medium asymmetrical map" with "lots of nooks and crannies". It's "great" for King of the Hill and Regicide.
Halo 4's Crimson Map Pack is set to release on December 10, 2012. If you plan on purchasing all three content packs you may want to consider investing in the Halo 4 War Games Map Pass for $24.99 (2,000 Microsoft Points); this totals to a 15% total discount and provides a unique in-game Falcon emblem.
