Halo 4 Game of the Year Edition due out in October

Microsoft has confirmed that Halo 4 will receive a Game of the Year Edition.

“A Game of the Year Edition of Halo 4 will be offered this October, offering tremendous value for fans who want to enjoy one of the most critically acclaimed games of 2012, and additional DLC all in one place," Microsoft told IGN a day after it leaked. "We will have more details to share during the live stream of the Halo Global Championship Finals this Sunday.”

The leaked image that originally outed the GotY Edition showed that it will include Spartan Ops Season 1, War Games Map Pass, Halo 4 Champions Bundle, and all the pre-order and LCE exclusive content. Although it delivers $80 in content, it is expected to retail for $49.99.
