Box art for Halo 5: Guardians' Limited Editions has allegedly been leaked, courtesy of a GameStop Italy listing.
Both the Limited and Limited Collector's Editions of Halo 5: Guardians became available for pre-order earlier this year, but this is the first we've seen of the packaging (if you're into that kind of thing). The box art looks to separate itself from the standard version by completely ditching Master Chief and Spartan Locke in a deadly stare down.
The Limited Edition box art is much more abstract, featuring their respective gradients in hexagon shapes.
Of course, more important than the outside of the box is what's inside of it.
For the $99.99 Limited Edition version, you'll the game “plus new digital content” and “exclusive items wrapped in a uniquely designed steel book." The $249.99 Limited Collector's Edition throws in a commemorative numbered statue from 343 Industries, which explains the large box.
It's worth pointing out that the boxes say "For Display Only," so it's possible that these covers are subject to change. Still, though, it's fun to speculate.
Halo 5: Guardians will release on October 27, 2015, exclusively for Xbox One. In addition to these limited editions, Microsoft is expected to release a Halo 5 Limited Edition Xbox One alongside the blockbuster game.
