343 Industries did plenty of tweaking to Halo 5: Guardians' multiplayer before it released, but it looks like that might have missed out on how exploitive some players can be. Due to player feedback, the Orion map will be removed from the game for the time being.
"We’re removing Orion, in its current form, from all playlists so that we can take some time to remove and patch map exploits as well as make additional improvements to the map before re-adding it where appropriate," wrote 343 Industries on their Halo Waypoint blog. "In parallel, we’re also working on multiplayer spawns (and any exploits that arise) on existing maps as well, based on information from feedback and videos you’ve submitted as well as internal playtests. "
In addition to the removal of Orion, 343i has released 15 additional map and game type combinations, in addition to the current playlist. All of the changes will go live tomorrow.
