Since Halo 5: Guardians was officially revealed for Xbox One last week, there's been plenty of speculation as to the mysterious Spartan shown in the artwork. Who is it?
We already know it's not Cortana. It's not Sarah Palmer, either. And despite those hips, it's not a girl either. At least this is all according to Halo's Senior PR Manager Rob Semsey.
So who is this new character? Well, that's just it — you probably won't know. Because this mysterious Spartan is a "NEW character," according to Halo 5: Guardians executive producer Josh Holmes.

Halo 5: Guardians is due out for Xbox One in fall 2015, 343 announced last week. It's believed that Microsoft and 343 will release Halo: The Master Chief Collection this year as a way to "refresh" audience's memories ahead of Halo 5's release.
