Halo 5 TV commercial teases Master Chief is dead

Microsoft has issued a new trailer teasing Master Chief is dead. I'm not sure what to make of this as it's probably lies and a brilliant marketing campaign for Xbox One's biggest game of the year as well as its two years of existence.

For all we know, it could just be a ploy to make Locke and company let their guard down. All I know is if this is real, I'm driving from New Jersey to Washington and having a little chat over at 343 Industries. Halo 5 Guardians launches on October 27th only on Xbox One. At this point, you guys know the drill. No need to rehash all the Halo 5 Guardians news. It's most likely propoganda at this point but still, the ending better be totally clear as to the result of Master Chief or there is going to be a lot of angry people to say the least.

After all, it's only THE MOST POPULAR character in the history of Xbox that's all. What do you guys think? Let us know

Just a guy lucky enough to talk about games with you fine people. "Don't ever tell anybody anything, when you do, you start missing everybody".
