Yet another PC game has seen its multiplayer saved from extinction when GameSpy shuts down on May 31. This time, it's Halo: Combat Evolved.
GameRanger, a service that provides a home for games without server support, is stepping in to support Halo: Combat Evolved. In addition, the company has also stepped in to keep support going for GRID and Need for Speed: Most Wanted.
It's nice to see that fans of these games can still keep enjoying them. If you'll excuse me, I'll shed a tear over the long shut-down Halo 2 servers.
