Halo: Combat Evolved playlist returns to the Master Chief Collection

343 Industries has announced the return of the dedicated Halo: Combat Evolved playlist in The Master Chief Collection.

Originally slated as a launch-day playlist, 343 Industries announced just before The Master Chief Collection's release that they were delaying the Combat Evolved playlist until they were able to provide "the best experience possible." With The Master Chief Collection's multiplayer experience improving on a daily basis, it's time for the playlist to return.

"We have updated the Matchmaking playlist lineup to include Halo: CE. As mentioned before launch, we held this playlist until additional gameplay improvements could be made to Halo: CE, and many of these improvements were included in our most recent content update," 343 said today.

As a reminder, the Halo: CE playlist consists of 2v2 matches, as determined by community feedback.
