Halo, Destiny writer working on Xbox One exclusive ReCore

The Xbox One exclusive being developed by the studio that brought us Metroid Prime and game producer Keiji Inafune was recently revealed to be coming to the PC via Windows 10 when it makes its 2016 release. While Inafune and his team have been highlighted in regards to the game, it turns out that the game's lead writer has been associated with blockbuster games, as well.

ReCore's lead writer is none other than Joseph Staten, a former key member of the Bungie writing team. Staten wrote Halo: ODST, directed Halo's cinematics, and served as the lead writer on Destiny. Up until 2013, Staten had been working with the Bungie team, but left to work at a Microsoft studio on an unannounced game.

It turns out that Staten has been working on ReCore, according to The New York Times.
