Halo: Master Chief Collection added to Ultimate Game Sales, but Lords of the Fallen is still missing

Xbox One sale expands with weekend sales

As expected, Microsoft has expanded its Ultimate Game Sale by adding a few enticing weekend offers. As of right now, the weekend sales are for the UK, but it can be assumed they same deals will be offered in the U.S. later today.

Assuming everything remains the same, and a leaked image from Reddit suggests it will be, here are the Xbox One weekend offers for the Ultimate Game Sale:

  • Killer Instinct Complete Bundle – 33% discount (40% for Gold Members)
  • The Walking Dead: S1+2 Bundle – 50% discount (60% for Gold Members)
  • Halo: Master Chief Collection Digital Bundle – 33% discount (40% for Gold Members)
  • Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor Season – 33% discount (40% for Gold Members)

For Xbox 360:

  • Fable Anniversary – 40% (50% for Gold)
  • WWE 2K15 – 33% (40% for Gold)
  • Naruto Storm Revolution – 40% (50% for Gold)
  • F1 2014 – 45% (56% for Gold)
  • Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen – 67% (75% for Gold)
  • Sonic and All-Stars Racing Transformed – 75% (84% for Gold)
  • TMNT Danger of the Ooze – 40% (50% for Gold)
  • Tropico 5 – 40% (50% for Gold)

Of course, all of the games that were available through the Ultimate Game Sale will still be discounted through the weekend. The sale is expected to last through February 23.

What's surprising, though, is that Deck13's Lords of the Fallen still doesn't seem to be included in the sale. According to the developer, the action-RPG initially was "supposed to be featured" in this week's massive Xbox sale. While the game was available for a few hours, it was mysteriously pulled. Not even the developer had any clue why. Microsoft then confirmed that Lords of the Fallen was not part of the Ultimate Game Sale; however, a representative allegedly told one gamer that it'd be part of the weekend sale. It's all explained here for those still confused.

We've yet to hear anything official yet, but Deck13 tweeted yesterday:

It still sounds, to me, like the game might be available at a discounted price at some time this weekend, but I don't know. We'll keep an eye out for you just in case.
