Halo senior art director stepping down to be with family

Wednesday, 343 Industries announced the departure of Kenneth Scott as the Halo franchise’s senior art director.

Scott — husband to Corrinne Yu, whom left the studio herself this past November to take a position at Naughty Dog — is stepping down to be with his family.

Scott will remain an employee at 343 Industries as a “visual design consultant,” though, according to the developer.

“In order to be with his family, Kenneth Scott and 343 Industries have agreed to transition his current role," a Microsoft spokesperson told IGN.

"We’re thrilled to announce that Kenneth’s long-time colleague and collaborator, Nicolas “Sparth” Bouvier will step into the position of Art Director. Kenneth will continue to work with 343 Industries remotely and partner with Nicolas in a newly created role as a Visual Design Consultant. We can’t wait to share more details regarding the future of ‘Halo’ very soon.”
