Halo: The Fall of Reach animated series trailer released

A new trailer was released during San Diego Comic Con this week giving us our first look at the new animated series Halo: The Fall of Reach. Halo:Reach was a prequel in the Halo series showing us the Spartan II program. Shrouded in mystery, we never really saw what happened with the program, which is where this new series steps in.

Halo: the Fall of Reach is a three part mini-series and is set during events both before and after the terrifying Covenant attack on humanity, the story will introduce viewers to the members of Blue Team and allow them to witness the pivotal moments that forged the legendary squad’s legacy. It's not a direct tie in to Halo 5 Guardians so to speak as it takes place as more of an in between-quel of Halo: Reach and the original Halo and showing us just what caused Reach to fail.

Halo 5 Guardians will release this October 27th on Xbox One
