343 Industries took the Halo: The Master Chief Collection forums to assure players that they had been hard at work during the holidays and that they still have intention of improving everyone's experience in the game.
The assurance from 343 was paired with a rough outline of updates for Halo: The Master Chief Collection, one of which will be released this week.
The coming content update will bring updates to UI and 'a variety of other areas' — in 343 Industries' last update they used the same quoted line. No further details have been offered on what exactly the content update will be bringing or when it will be delivered. In the next few days, Halo 4 and Team Hardcore playlists will be made available. The Team Hardcore playlist will launch with Halo 2 Classic variants only. In a future update you will be seeing Halo 3 maps, game types and playlists that feature Team Snipers, Team Doubles, an objective-only playlist and more.
This weeks content update isn't the only update in the works at 343 Industries, following content updates will target improvements for matchmaking, parties and top community items.
