Since its release today, Halo: The Master Chief Collection has been plagued with a number of online matchmaking issues hindering the multiplayer portion of the game.
The main issue most players have been dealing with is unusually long matchmaking times. Here's 343 Industries' latest update:
"We are aware of the issues players have been experiencing with matchmaking and we’re working around the clock, alongside the Xbox Live team, to improve the situation. Other multiplayer bugs/issues include:
All of the issues are currently being investigated by developer 343 Industries, but there's no timetable as to when they'll be resolved. In the case of the 6v6 Big Team Battle, 343i says they'll leave it as is for now while they work on a fix.
