Halo: The Master Chief Collection’s matchmaking update delayed

Halo: The Master Chief Collection's next content update — which was supposed to release this Wednesday (11/19) — has been delayed. According to 343 Industries, it will now be released later this week "to allow for additional fixes, as well as the completion of the testing and certification process."

As a reminder, the content update includes a variety of fixes for The Master Chief Collection — the most notable being Matchmaking performance issues. It also includes general UI and game stability improvements, as well as fixes for game-specific issues in Halo: Combat Evolved, Halo 2, Halo 2: Anniversary, and more.

343i promises full patch notes will be posted later this week, ahead of the content update's release. As always, we'll be sure to let you know when the update goes live.
