The developers that brought us Halo: The Master Chief Collection have been promising updates to the game for a while. Last week, new playlists were added and it was said that 343 was targeting a late weekend release for the game improving update, but it didn't quite come.
The reported reason for the delay is so that the update can undergo "further testing." While the update never made its late weekend launch, but 343 Industries did release the specifics on what the update would be including.
