Hangar 6 R&D DLC for The Bureau: XCOM Declassified now available

2K and 2K Marin announced today that Hangar 6 R&D, the new add-on content for The Bureau: XCOM Declassified, is available for download today. If you own the game on PlayStation 3 or PC, you're out of luck. This is only available on Xbox 360 for $4.99 on Xbox Live.

Hangar 6 R&D takes place before the events of The Bureau, with players taking control of the new protagonist Agent Nico DaSilva and his squad; they volunteer for secret psycho-medical experiments in order to save a fellow Bureau agent that's infected with the "Sleepwalker" pathogen.

This story-driven DLC explores the 1960s Cold War by tranporting players to a new location known by the Bureau agents as Hangar 6. Players will be able use more dangerous weapons like the AK-47, and even try out the prototype Microwave Gun. It cooks enemies from the inside out. Yea… badass. DaSilva also has some new power and perks that are based on his "plant and trigger" bomb abilities.
