Hard Mode for Crota’s End has arrived

The eagerly awaited challenge — Hard Mode for Destiny's end-game raid, Crota's End — is here. Bungie confirmed just minutes ago that they've "clicked the buttons to activate" the new mode and told players to relaunch Destiny if they don't see it available. They even shared a sweet little Vine showing off the Destiny Operations Center.

Crota's End was introduced with Destiny's first expansion, The Dark Below. The new Hard Mode offers level 33 difficulty. Guardians who manage to complete the raid have a chance to be rewarded with some new loot, including Primary Weapons which are actually exclusive to the Hard Mode version. Other exclusive loot includes the Bane of the Dark Gods ship and a new Glowhoo Shader palette.
