Hard Mode for Destiny’s King’s Fall Raid is on the way

Bungie has confirmed that the Hard Mode version of Destiny: The Taken King's "King's Fall" Raid will open up on Friday, October 23rd at 10:00am Pacific (1:00pm Eastern). As was the case when the raid first opened, I expect to see many livestreams of Fireteams attempting to become the first to complete the raid on this new challenging difficulty.

Bungie isn't spoiling the challenge with any hints, but did reveal the Recommended Light for Hard Mode will be 300-320. And the reward will be well worth it, dropping between 310-320 Light Level gear.

More insights from the Raid design team "that's about to bring the real pain" will be shared before the race for World First begins next week, Bungie assured.

While we can't possibly prepare you for the challenges that await in King's Fall Hard Mode, you can at least read up on the normal version of the raid with our in-depth guide.
