Hard Reset: Redux gets ‘re-energized’ for Xbox One and PS4

Gambitious Entertainment has announced that Wild Flying Hog's 2011 sci-fi shooter Hard Reset is getting "reenergized for modern audiences."

Hard Reset: Redux is coming soon to Xbox One, PS4, and PC, and is said to feature an upgraded visual engine and rebalanced gameplay, along with new enemies and weaponry.

Hard Reset was initially released on PC only back in 2011 and featured protagonist Major Fletcher, a CLN soldier, defending the city of Bezoar and the remnants of humankind's dwindling population from the hive mind machines of The Sanctuary.

Hard Reset turned some heads when it first released for its over-the-top destruction and dark cyberpunk setting. While others like Call of Duty focused on multiplayer aspects, Hard Reset focused on destruction and violence, ultimately setting it apart.

There's no release date for Hard Reset: Redux, but hopefully we'll hear more soon.
