The fine folks over at Mediatonic and avian-friendly publisher Devolver Digital have released the previously PC-exclusive game Hatoful Boyfriend on the Playstation 4 and PS Vita for $14.95. That’s right, you can finally explore avian romance on your PS4 or Vita.
In case you aren’t sure what Hatoful Boyfriend, in the game play as the only human attending St. PigeoNation’s prestigious school for birds and you encounter a feathered cast of characters, all the while looking for a suitable love interest. The game has you following your heart, choosing your path and going on romantic dates you. It’s not all romance and feathers though, there are fowl twists and turns along the way that could spell the end of everything.
The debut of Hatoful Boyfriend on the PS4 and Vita calls for a whole new potential romance. Tohri, a character that previously only appeared in the Hatoful Boyfriend: Holiday Star sequel will make his appearance in the PS4 and Vita versions. This exclusive story path introduces some new questionable stalkers, bitter rivalries, and even a doomsday device sure to shake up any avian romance!
“Research shows that the bird romance game business is a $15 billion a year industry and with Hatoful Boyfriend the only title in the category I stand to make roughly $15 billion,” said Devolver Digital CFO Fork Parker.
