Have a look at the first screenshots of Forza Horizon 2

[Update:] New screens added (thanks Gamepur).

Newly announced open-world racer Forza Horizon 2 has been given its first official screenshots, courtesy of NeoGAF.

As expected, the screens show some pretty cars in pretty settings. Fantastic, pretty and old-hat. The true focal point is the inclusion of the long-awaited weather system, seen in the rain and still water seen in all three screens, which will add a new dynamic to the franchise.

Forza Horizon 2 is a collaborative project between PlayGround Games, who handled the original Horizon, and Turn 10 Studios, who is in charge of the Forza Motorsport franchise. The Xbox One version of the game will use the same graphics engine as Forza Motosport 5 while the Xbox 360 version, developed by Sumo Digital, will use the engine from the original Horizon. Both versions will release this fall.
