Hawkman cast for Legends of Tomorrow, Arrow, and Flash

Falk Handschel has been cast as Hawkman in Legends of Tomorrow, Arrow and Flash.

The German actor will play Carter Hall, the alter-ego of an Egyptian Prince who is fated to reincarnate throughout time along with his soulmate, Kendra Saunders (played by Ciara Renée). Like Kendra, Carter can access the powers of the Hawk God, Horus, transforming him into the winged warrior.

Handschel is best known for his work on Transcendence, White House Down, Marvel's Agents of SHIELD, The Closer, and NCIS: Los Angeles.

Hawkman will appear in Arrow and Flash before making his debut in CW's latest superhero show, Legends of Tomorrow. Arrow's fourth season is set to debut October 7 on CW; The Flash follows it October 8. Legends of Tomorrow will begin on CW in early 2016.
