HBO reveals inside-look at Game of Thrones Season 6 prosthetics

Have you ever wondered how Game of Thrones turns regular actors into the White Walkers that we see on screen? If you have, you shall wait no longer. 

HBO released a video on the Making Game of Thrones website today, giving fans a chance to see how the artists work behind the scenes. 

British-born Barry Gower, a prosthetic designer that works on the show, features in the video as he talks us through the journey that got him where he is today – crafting some of television's most iconic props. 

He said: "Quite early on I realised that I wanted to make creatures and monsters, things out of rubber basically, so a show like Game of Thrones is kind of like a bucket list. 

"We will actually concept and design the characters. A lot of our crew concentrate on painting, a lot of guys are from a sculptural sort of background, hairdressing, definitely an artistic process."
