For a lot of us our Vitas have basically become portable remaster edition machines, and there’s really nothing wrong with that. Enhanced and ported editions of games like Persona 4 Golden, Disgaea 4, Final Fantasy X/X-2 and Metal Gear Solid have justified the handheld for plenty of people and there’s a new one to add to the list now that LucasArts has announced the Double Fine classic Full Throttle is getting the full HD remaster treatment.
Just yesterday we were mentioning the nostalgia indicative of Tim Schafer games like Grim Fandango and Psychonauts so it was a treat to see the man himself get on stage and deliver the announcement at the PlayStation Experience.
While a finalized release date hasn’t been associated with the project, it is expected for sometime in 2016.
