Last week a patch hit Blizzard servers that leaked some Hearthstone cards, from that patch we deduced that there has to be a new adventure on the way — it turns out that we guessed right! Blizzard has revealed a new adventure for Hearthstone during their PAX EAST panel.
That same panel revealed tons of information on Overwatch, but let's be honest…You're here for Hearthstone.
The Blackrock Mountain adventure will feature five wings (made up of five zones: Blackrock Spire, Blackrock Depths, and more), 31 new cards, nine new class challenges, and Heroic modes. Blackrock Mountain will not release all in one go, it will release one wing a week over the course of 5 weeks, starting with Blackrock Depths. Each wing can be purchased for 700 gold (in-game) or $6.99.
You will be able to purchase all five wings of Blackrock Mountain ahead of time at a reduced price ("the bigger the bundle, the bigger the discount) – this bundle will not give you the wings ahead of release.
Blackrock Mountain is set to release simultaneously on PC, Mac, iPad, and Android tablets next month.
