Heavy Rain was perhaps most interesting not for its unique story-driven gameplay, but for how it inspired fervant debate about what actually qualifies as a video game, with many haters claiming that Heavy Rain was less a game and more a choose-your-own-adventure movie with some quick-time-events thrown in.
