After months and months of waiting, Rockstar has finally announced the date fans can expect Heists to arrive in GTA Online, the online multiplayer mode for Grand Theft Auto 5. Barring any delays, Heists are scheduled to launch on March 10th for Xbox and PlayStation platforms.
"We know it’s been a wait, and appreciate your patience," Rockstar said. "Over the next couple of weeks, we will have more information about the launch of Heists and about other new features that we will release with it."
Heists introduce a new 4-player cooperative gameplay experience to GTA Online, giving players the chance to team up and pull off a string of intense, multi-part raids and robberies across Los Santos and Blaine County. These elaborate missions will require players to plan, prepare, and execute with perfect synergy, demanding tight communication and coordination. Each player takes on specified roles at certain points in the mission to accomplish multiple objective's on the way to an epic finale. Should players successfully complete the heist, they will be rewarded handsomely.
Heists, of course, are still on track to arrive with the PC version of the game, but Rockstar also announced today that the PC version has been delayed to April.
