Fans have been going back and forth recently with teases about Hellboy 3. Even Ron Perlman has said that the film will most likely never happen, but that hasn't stopped fans from still wanting it.
Guillermo del Toro took to Twitter yesterday and put up a poll asking fans if they wanted a Hellboy 3. The only two responses were "Yes" and "Hell Yes", and Del Toro promised a meeting with Perlman and Hellboy creator Mike Mignola to try and get it done if the poll got over 100,000 responses.
Informal poll (let's see how many votes we get in 24 hours)

Of course, the poll hit over that mark in only several hours, prompting a response from Del Toro quite quickly.
I spoke with Ron Perlman. He's in for the sit down. Will approach Mignola next. Will keep you posted. Very moved by your love of pt I & II

This could very well mean nothing, as it's just a sit down between actor and creator. Studios will still have to get on board if the three come to an agreement, but it's still much further along than the film has been in the past. Fans should be happy because in just three months we've gone from never happening to sitting down trying to get it done.
Just more proof that nothing is final in Hollywood, right? Let us know what you think below.
