Hellboy 3 “will not happen,” confirms Guillermo del Toro

There's been a lot of back and forth on whether Hellboy 3 would happen or not. We finally have a confirmation for the director behind the film series, but it's not what some fans wanted to hear.

A few weeks ago, director Guillermo del Toro asked fans if they were interesting in seeing Hellboy 3. After hitting 100,000 votes on Twitter, del Toro sat down with the Hellboy actor, Ron Perlman, and comic creator, Mike Mingola, to discuss the potential film.

The decision wasn't great (as you could have probably guessed from the headline).

In the past, Guillermo del Toro said Hellboy 3 could happen, while Ron Perlman flip-flopped between saying it could happen to it not happening. Guillermo del Toro did not go on to reveal why the trio came to this decision.
