Superman himself took to Instagram today to tease the iconic black Superman costume from the Death and Return of Superman storyline. While you can't see the entire suit, you can see a close up of the iconic Superman insignia on his chest. The suit was used when Superman came back after he was killed by Doomsday in the 90's. He donned the suit alongside a stylish dark black mullet, the suit featured a silver-ish "S" on the chest and the rest of the suit was colored completely black.
Fans have been speculating if the Man of Steel will return in Justice League with the iconic suit or if he will continue to wear the red and blue suit but now it seems we have our answer. The only question left is: Will Cavill grow out a glorious mullet to go along with the suit?
Superman is set to return in Justice League which will release on November 17th, 2017.
