Here are the patch notes from this week’s Destiny update

Earlier this week, Bungie released an update for Destiny that, while adding the Vault of Glass raid, also contained quite a few other changes and tweaks. It wasn't until recently, though, that Bungie shared with us the actual patch notes.

"Not every update that you apply to Destiny will contain revolutionary changes to the player experience," Bungie said. "As we support the world of Destiny beyond the launch, much of what we do behind the scenes will be dedicated to ensuring the services that support the game are stable."

Here are the following refinements made to Destiny with the recent update:

Engineering

  • Fixes for Xbox One bootflow issues
  • Changes in network configuration to improve stability
  • Fixes for issues causing game crashes

Events

  • Public Events should occur twice as frequently in public spaces

Glad to see that none of the farming locations have been changed yet.

For those unfamiliar, Vault of Glass is the new level 26 raid that's extremely difficult. PrimeGuard was the first raid to actually complete the raid, but it wasn't without heavy casualties. According to stats posted by Bungie, one player died a staggering 281 deaths. I've yet to actually partake in the new raid as I'm not level 26, but let us know what you think of it if you've tried it.
