With the end of the year approaching its time we sat down and decided what the best games of 2016 were. Any game that released prior to November 24th, 2016 has been reviewed and rated by leading industry members and are competing for the winning title in a number of "Best of" categories.
When it comes to Game of the Year, you might be shocked to see that Battlefield 1 didn't make it on to the list, but Titanfall 2 did. While Battlefield 1 can be found elsewhere on the list, there one game that isn't listed anywhere and that's Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. Joining Infinite Warfare on the MIA list is Quantum Break.
Of course, if there was a 'Best Remaster' category, Modern Warfare might have found a place on the list.
The Video Game Awards are taking place on December 1st in Los Angeles, California and will be available via livestream to anyone who wants to watch!
