Here is the trailer for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants in Manhattan, courtesy of Activision

I'm not sure whether to be super pumped because the game looks amazing (which is certainly saying something for a Ninja Turtles game) or sad because tomorrow was to be PlatinumGames' official unveiling of the trailer. Apparently the trailer was leaked ahead of schedule, which forced Activision's YouTube account to officially release the trailer in full 1080p.

Either way, check out the trailer above. We get to see the Turtles as well as a few villains, including Shredder himself in action, as well as some of the combat in the game, which given PlatinumGames' reputation, is sure to be stellar.

Here is the description:

Battle alongside your brothers through the sewers, subways, and streets of NYC to take down Shredder and Krang's evil organization, Foot by Foot. Unleash custom combat skills and powerful team combos to save Manhattan from the overwhelming dark forces growing in the shadows.

It is odd that the trailer itself isn't running in 60fps, since usually all of PlatinumGames' titles tend to shoot for that target framerate. However, it is only January, so we still have quite a long time to wait until Summer 2016 to finally get our hands on what looks to finally be, a stellar TMNT game. Hopefully.

Fingers crossed.
