Here’s a brief taste of what Rock Band 4 songs you’ll be able to jam out to

This year marks the return of plastic instruments, and in a big way. Both Activision and Harmonix are bringing the big guns with Guitar Hero Live and Rock Band 4 respectively.

In IGN's ongoing monthly coverage of Rock Band 4, today we got a small sample of the upcoming tracks coming to the game.

What's interesting that just in this small sample of songs coming, you already see the variety that Harmonix is going for, with 70's rock icons The Who to the more contemporary sound of The Killers, as well as the indie/alternative sound of Jack White.

  • Avenged Sevenfold – "Hail to the King"
  • Fleetwood Mac – "You Make Loving Fun"
  • Jack White – "Lazaretto"
  • The Killers – "Somebody Told Me"
  • Spin Doctors – "Little Miss Can't Be Wrong"
  • The Who – "The Seeker"

If this small sample is an indication of what's to come in the full game, then we're definitely in for a treat, though don't forget that Rock Band 4 will support all your previously purchased DLC as well.
