Here’s Aaron Paul’s response to playing Han Solo

By now you've probably heart the rumors of Aaron Paul, most popularly known as Jesse Pinkman in Breaking Bad, playing Han Solo in a Star Wars spin-off movie. The unverified rumor came from the site Making Star Wars, which claimed that Aaron Paul is looking to be attached to the spin-off, currently code named "Luminac Industrial Goods."

I have a hard time picturing Aaron Paul as Han Solo, mostly because they look nothing alike and I don't get the whole Han Solo vibe from him. When you recast an iconic character, you have to get someone that at least looks and can act the part. That's why I like Chris Pine so much as Captain Kirk, regardless of the shoddy script of Star Trek Into Darkness.

So while everyone ran with the rumors that Paul might be playing Han Solo, did anyone ask Aaron Paul directly? Here's what he said on Twitter:

Good response, Aaron. Of course, this is exactly what someone attached to the spin-off would say when they aren't allowed to confirm anything yet.

We hope Aaron Paul has a lot of jobs in 2015 — we just don't see him portraying Han Solo as one of them.

Ray. If someone asks if you are a god, you say, "yes!"
