ARMS is coming to Switch quite soon, and a digital copy will take up a lot less space than one might expect. The Nintendo Switch exclusive fighter coming in June appears to be in the lightweight category of fighters.
According to screengrab from Reddit user aftheblackguy, the stretchy armed fighter weighs in at only 2.2 GB. Take a look at the details in the screengrab below:
Bile-green color schemes aside, we can gather some significant data and assumptions from this grab. First of all, it means that ARMS will take up roughly 7% of the Switch's internal memory. Compared to a number of titles out there, Notably Zelda: Breath of the Wild and it's 13.4 GB requirement (42%), ARMS is significantly smaller as far as data goes.
Does this mean anything in regards to content? Or is it just another example of Nintendo's ability to crunch data? For reference, Pokemon Silver and Gold both had the previous titles, Red and Blue in their entirety on the ancient original Gameboy cartridge.
In other ARMS news, there's a timed demo happening this weekend. Get more information and a chance to play right here. ARMS will release on June 16.
