Here’s how long Black Ops 3’s DLC will be exclusive to PlayStation

At E3 this week, Activision surprised the world when they announced a new partnership with Sony that will allow PlayStation users first access to Call of Duty: Black Ops 3's downloadable content — a first in franchise history.

However, the new partnership won't really change how Activision delivers the DLC.  Similar to the deal Microsoft had with Activision, Black Ops 3's DLC will be available exclusively on PlayStation platforms for 30 days, according to Sony's Adam Boyes.

Black Ops 3 isn't even out yet, so it feels silly to be talking this early about downloadable content, but that's the way the industry is now. At least we saw some actual gameplay at E3 this week.
