Here’s how to build your very own AC Syndicate hidden blade and rope launcher

If you've played Assassin's Creed Syndicate or read our review, you'll know it's one of the best AC titles to come out in the franchise so far. Classic, Victorian London along with its countless historical figures makes for a great story and of course, new weapons.

One of these new weapons is the grapple rope launcher that both Jacob and Evie Frye utilize throughout the game. It allows you to scale a giant building in mere seconds as well as zipline from one building to the next. As it features a ratcheting mechanism rather than a simple grapple, it also allows you go travel up rather than just down. Well, the video game version wasn't enough for Youtuber Colinfurze as he wanted to go that little extra step further.

You can see that not only the rope grapple, but Colin also created a working hidden, retractable blade as well. You know, the staple of the series? Both of these work flawlessly and somehow Colin doesn't injure himself while doing it which is even more remarkable. As cool as this is, please don't try this at home, ok? The engineering behind this is the most impressive part as you can see the amount of working parts included in each version.
