As a reminder, when Telltale's The Walking Dead: The New Frontier launches next week it will be only on the current generation of consoles. Xbox 360 and PS3 players will miss out, but don't worry, there's a workaround to get the save files for your first two seasons into play.
It will be easiest if you still have your console lying around and it only takes three steps. You'll need to upload your save file from the game's main menu to your Telltale account. Then, log into Telltale's website and select the save you wish to use. Finally, when The New Frontier releases next week, simply import your save once you're logged into your Telltale account. Of course, you'll only need to do this for Season 2 of The Walking Dead if you carried your choices over from Season 1 as they will all be integrated already.
If you have already said goodbye to your old console, hopefully, you have a good memory. Under the Episodes menu, there is an option to recreate your old choices for the game's major moments. The choices in both seasons are pretty memorable, so you should be ok if you don't have your console lying around. The only downfall is it may take a few more minutes than using your console.
The Walking Dead: The New Frontier will release its first two episodes next week, December 20th. Those on PS4 will get The Walking Dead: Season Two and The Walking Dead: Michonne free of charge for pre-ordering while PC Players get a 10% discount. Just as the most recent Batman: The Telltale Series, The New Frontier will get a physical release beginning in February.
The Walking Dead: The New Frontier will release on mobile platforms as well as current generation consoles and PC December 20th.
