Here’s how to see what mods Skyrim: Special Edition is getting on Xbox One and PS4

Sony has approved of mod support on the PlayStation 4 for both Fallout 4 and Skyrim: Special Edition, after initially rejecting the feature. However, the PlayStation 4's mods won't be the same as the Xbox One's. According to recent details, the Skyrim: Special Edition mods will use non-native assets on the Xbox One version, but not the PS4 version.

Heading over to Bethesda's Creation Kit for Skyrim, you'll find that the Xbox One and PS4 have a very different set of mods.

The PS4 currently has a total of 10 available mods that help you with things like scroll crafting, give you 'God Gear,' a large castle to store things in, Beehives, map markers and more. The Xbox One, on the other hand, has those 10 mods plus 55 other mods, totaling 65 mods. Xbox One owners will be able to download the 'Unofficial Skyrim Patch' (developed by the same people who made the Unofficial Oblivion Patch) that goes above and beyond to fix game bugs, the 'Frostfall' mod that adds even more immersion to the game (and new spells) and things like 'Funny Followers' that turn your followers into terrifying vehicles of death.
