Here’s how your time powers will work in Quantum Break

According to a report by Dualshockers, Quantum Break's time powers were detailed in a behind closed doors meeting at Gamescom this week. Jack Joyce will be able to utilize five separate powers that he will be able to acquire and increase in power over the duration of the game. They will all be on display on the right side of the screen with their own, separate indication bar that will need to be recharged over time before you use it again. All five of the powers you may use are
  • Time Blast: it breaks time in a focused area with destructive results.
  • Time Rush: it allows running while time is frozen, escaping mortal danger.
  • Time Dodge: a quick dash out of harm’s way.
  • Time Shield: a protective bubble that can deflect bullets.
  • Time Stop: freezes time in a focused area, including opponents and objects.
Quantum Break received an official release date of April 5th at Gamescom this week and will also feature an intertwined TV show featuring live actors. The TV show will showcase the game's villains and what occurs depends directly upon the choices you make in game as the hero, Jack Joyce. It will release exclusively on Xbox One.
