Well, it sounds like Halo: The Master Chief Collection's matchmaking is improving. This morning, 343 Industries rolled out a few tweaks which the developer says "should begin to further improve" the online multiplayer matchmaking. For those who like patch notes, they are brief, but here they are:
- Dedicated server stability improvements
- Laid the groundwork for upcoming Matchmaking content updates, including improvements to the team selection process
343 Industies also plans to release a content update this evening that addresses "a variety of community-reported issues," including campaign, UI, and some matchmaking party issues. 343 was clear to point out that it will not address actual matchmaking performance. A larger matchmaking performance-focused content update is planned for release next week.
So that's where we are right now with The Master Chief Collection. As always, we'll continue to update you once we learn more.
