In late March, Eiji Aonuma, the lead developer and producer of Zelda games at Nintendo, revealed that The Legend of Zelda for the Wii U had been indefinitely delayed, citing "new possibilities" that gave the team the feeling that could exceed their own expectations.
So what's the latest on The Legend of Zelda for Wii U? Well, not much, really.
Nintendo's latest earnings report listed the game as "TBD," which essentially means the same thing as "still delayed indefinitely."
The lack of a release window could be concerning for some, but no need to worry folks. Clearly, The Legend of Zelda for Wii U is still alive. It's alive guys!
In the meantime, we can still expect to see plenty of other games headed our way this year, like Splatoon, Mario Maker, Yoshi's Woolly World, Star Fox, Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer, and more.
