Looking at the tables below, it would seem that big names such as Call of Duty, Grand Theft Auto and The ESO: Tamriel Unlimited have solidified their places at the pinacle of both markets. As you can see, both American and British gaming interest has seemingly grown closer together in 2015, with the only differences being in sports. For example/ In the UK football or soccer is popular, whereas in America there is more popular demand for American football.
It is interesting to see the ever-growing presence of Minecraft in the UK, after an almost cult following for upcoming British YouTubers such as ProSyndicate from Manchester. Mojang's flagship game has been available since May 2009 and is still growing across Europe. Developers actually announced not too long ago that sales had exceeded over 20million PC/Mac copies, which in itself is an astounding achievement. Although Minecraft has come a long way, it would seem the future is still bright for the sandbox title.
